I have an observation regarding Manual replication scenario as described below:
Essentially, when manually replicating the approved CR's i have noticed that even the CR's for Initial load of FI records are processed (i.e.; the records are replicated) along with the CR's for the records (uploaded earlier as part of initial upload) that were modified.
I guess this replication of Initial load of records and the modified records leads to overwriting of the values of the records in the back-end ECC system. In other words there's a possibility that the modifications from MDG are overwritten by the "original" values of the initially loaded records (in MDG).
All this happens simply because the Edition number is the same for Initial upload and modified records.
Is my understanding regarding Manual replication correct ? If yes - Is there a way to filter out the CR's of Initial upload and ensure only the CR's for the modified and new FI master records are manually replicated ?
